FAQ :: Leads Management Request a Web Demo

This FAQ provides some answers to common questions for those who are new to working with our channelLEADS application. This application was created to provide routing and feedback tools for your leads distribution efforts.

Routing:

  1. I want to auto-route my leads based on geography, is that doable with your system?
  2. I need to cut down on my time spent with partner lead forwarding efforts. Will this help?

Hooking up existing tools and data:

  1. How do I get my leads from my existing lead gen efforts into channelLEADS?
  2. Can I hook up web forms to channelLEADS?

Usability:

  1. I'm unsure if my partners have the time to learn a new system. How do they get lead info?
  2. My partners and I have many daily tasks - is there a way that I can be notified when I need to do something with this system?
  3. I noticed 'campaigns' as a feature of your application - what is that used for?

Reporting:

  1. My C-level execs want to see some ROI from their lead gen costs. Do you have something I can show them?


  1. Q: I want to auto-route my leads based on geography, is that doable with your system?
    A: Yes, we have standard routing options that can be implemented with channelLEADS. Our standard routing options include the ability to route by country, state/province, US zip code, phone area code, specialty, etc. We can also implement custom routing algorithms at your request.

  2. Q: I need to cut down on my time spent with partner lead forwarding efforts. Will this help?
    A: Absolutely. The application provides admin users the ability to easily forward multiple leads at once. To further reduce your lead forwarding tasks, we could automate the process with one of our automated forwarding options cited above.

  3. Q: How do I get my leads from my existing lead gen efforts into channelLEADS?
    A: Within the application there are 2 methods of lead entry - the import wizard for bulk lead entry from a spreadsheet, or through a web interface.

  4. Q: Can I hook up web forms to channelLEADS?
    A: Yes, we can either directly hook the application to an existing form or can offer to create an online form on your behalf to provide leads into the system.

  5. Q: I'm unsure if my partners have the time to learn a new system. How do they get lead info?
    A: We totally understand that and designed the system to minimize or eliminate the need of a learning curve/effort by the partner. For example, partners can receive leads and provide you with feedback, both through common email features that they're already familiar with or via a web interface.

  6. Q: My partners and I have many daily tasks - is there a way that I can be notified when I need to do something with this system?
    A: Yes. You can get email notifications when any one of your partners gets a new lead. We also understand that certain users wish to receive those types of notifications and some don't, depending on your job responsibility and work style, so we made that a preference that each individual user controls.
    By the way, your system administrator controls who "your partners" are via your "scope".

  7. Q: I noticed 'campaigns' as a feature of your application - what is that used for?
    A: Campaigns are used as a tracking mechanism for expenditures and actual leads. The admin team can log the costs of the lead campaign, associated notes, and partners. By using the quick stats, the application allows for a cross reference of leads by campaign and final outcome (via partner feedback).

  8. Q: My C-level execs want to see some ROI from their lead gen costs. Do you have something I can show them?
    A: Yes. cL provides a 'Quick Stats' set of reports which allows you to see lead counts by disposition; by feedback; by partner assignment; and by campaign. The system tracks the number of sales per lead campaign (via the partner feedback questionnaire), which should be a helpful internal metric for ROI purposes.
