Q: Is channelSUITE™ an ASP?
A: channelSUITE™ is an ASP (Application Service Provider) in the sense
that it is a hosted solution. However, channelSUITE™ is offered as a
customized solution that utilizes your process, terminology, and graphical
requirements. This eliminates the rigid “cookie cutter” nature
present with most ASP solutions.

A: With a hosted model, there is a low cost of entry, distributed payment,
no maintenance costs, no technical personnel requirements, and no special hardware,
software, infrastructure, or security requirements. This makes the suite more

A: Yes. channelSUITE™ modules can work together with your current extranet
or web site, and can be graphically consistent with your current layout. Single
sign-on is also available as an option.

A: Unlike purchasing a packaged solution, all of your implementation
services cost is quoted up front and maintenance is incorporated within the
user fees. Additional hardware or technical personnel investment is not required,
initially or as your program grows.

Q: How do I compare channelSUITE™ monthly pricing to the cost of a packaged solution
or a custom developed application?
A: channelSUITE has a lower up-front cost relative to custom development
or to most packaged solutions, and you pay ongoing monthly fees based on your
number of actual authorized users. Thus you could reasonably view your purchase
decision as a lease-vs.-buy decision. But when considering “buying” (custom
development or packaged enterprise solution), you should be wary of hidden
costs such as installation fees, hardware and software maintenance, security
planning and monitoring, technical support, personnel training, etc.

A: Absolutely. The channelSUITE™ servers utilize high-availability techniques
including mirrored disks, redundant power supplies, and distributed 24/7 server,
security, and network monitoring.

A: Unfortunately not. channelSUITE™ is a hosted solution for the reasons
listed at the beginning of this FAQ section.
We feel that this format allows greater initial price flexibility,
lower client maintenance cost, and greater overall satisfaction.
